1. Original report given to me based on information from the townsfolk of Milford, Ser Kaia and Ser Graf:
Tunnels were discovered under Milford Cathedral. They were guarded by two armoured stone figures that wouldn’t communicate and let anyone inside the tunnels.

2. Chronological Timeline:
Organised a group of 16 to investigate and transported to Milford on 15:00 Sunday 15 May 1125.

We discovered three stone guards at the tunnel entrance. Would recognise and draw weapons on any pattern that went within 10ft but wouldn’t communicate. Mineral.
Immune to being shattered. Mage bolt effective. Destroyed with normal and enchanted weapons.

The tunnel had been dug out by stone golems towards the centre of the hill but had found a separate underground tunnel network full of unliving skeletons.
Tracks revealed a single Elf had walked through with the golems, where they had battled some of the unliving.
Our group fought a group of the unliving who were tough. A mixture of innate spellcasting and corruption magic.

After defeating the group of unliving, we moved further through the tunnel to discover a single elf, trying to get through a defensive field.
We learnt the Elf was called Ethelred, and he served a master called Athelstan (spellings to be confirmed). His goal was to survey one of what he called the first foundation stones of Albion, which his master had apparently created.
A riddle was left. The answer we realised was based on an old Albion poem ending with the first trees of Albion: Ash, Oak and Thorn.
When we said the three words aloud, the field disappeared which allowed us to enter a large open space.
We were met with waves of unliving that had fallen through into the field, and a large ancient stone.

After fighting through, we talked further with Ethelred as he surveyed the stone.
Ethelred and his master had come out of the Mists a month prior. Discovered that their allegiance was to the High Queen Albiona. Ethelred was the creator of the stone golems that were guarding the tunnel and were what allowed him to get through the hordes of unliving unharmed. Ethelred seemed agreeable and gave us much information but was hesitant to reveal where they were based or whether we could organise a meeting to talk further until he talked to his master.

The stone had an inscription on it deciphered as ‘Grumwall the Unwise’. It was realised as the first foundation of knowledge, ignorance. The stone was magical and it seems the magic from the protection field retreated into the stone. A sense magic caused a vision that showed there were six other stones (seven stones in total) in Albion.

We were unsure whether we should leave the stone unprotected, and whether we could reactivate the field from the stone, but luckily, from further sense magics, it seemed that the barrier had done its job and didn’t need to be reactivated.

We walked back through the tunnels peacefully with Ethelred to the transport circle. He waited for our group to transport back to Medeia before transporting himself. But Ser Will stayed behind and tracked his transportation to Tiverton.

The mission group came back with 0 casualties.

3. Summarised Discoveries:
Underneath Milford Cathedral there is a network of underground tunnels with powerful unliving inside.
As well as an ancient magic stone, labelled as the first foundation stone of Albion, ‘Grumwall the Unwise’, and the first step of knowledge: Ignorance.
In total there are likely seven foundational stones in Albion. They are currently being surveyed one by one by Athelstan, the apparent creator of these stones, and his servant Ethelred, who both came from the mists and are likely to have originated from pre-imperial times due to their Elven heritage and allegiance to High Queen Albiona.
Ethelred was tracked transporting to Tiverton from Milford.
