Cornwall
General –
Battalion HQ – Exeter
Information
The Cornish battalion is currently the close to its capacity. They
specialize in small unit fighting and in coastal or very heavy ground
tactics. Traditional made up from even numbers of light and medium
skirmishers. In times of need they can bolster the Navy’s marine
divisions, as they hold to their history when in times past they were
drawn from the local wreckers and pirates that frequented the Cornish
coast. Recruitment has been steady in the duchy with Lady Cara being
elevated to Queen. Currently recruiting but can afford to be selective.

Gloucester
General –
Battalion HQ – Gloucester
Information
This battalion is the only one to be comprised of light, medium, heavy
and a special unit, this formation has come about due to the land in
Gloucester (Green Wood) and the threat of possible raids from over the
Cymru border. Specialising in close-quarter fighting and woodland
terrain. All incantors in the battalion cast in the name of the Hunter. With
the elevation of a new Duke, has come an increase in number for
recruitment from amongst the goblin and Uruk races

Keswick
General –
Battalion HQ – Keswick
Information
This battalion has suffered losses, most recently while attempting to stop
Mordred taking Havoc. The death of the King has also not been kind on
this battalion, known for their toughness and devotion to late King.
Specializing in hill and mountain fighting they are also adapt at fighting
for prolonged period in cold weather. A specialist unit of sapper Dwarves
makes then useful in cave and tunnels fight. A number of officers and
NCOs from other battalions have been assisting with in the training and
running of this battalion until local replacements can be found.
Replacement have been hard to recruit in the current situation.

Winchester
General – Vacant
Battalion HQ – Winchester
Information
Tasked with guarding the Royal Palace and the court of the Monarch
while they reside in the capital. There numbers dwindled during the time
of Queen Eloise, when she moved the court away Winchester. The reinstatement of the line of Arthur saw there number swell as much as
his death has seen them dwindle. The death of the King hit the duchy
hard including the battalion. Made up of both light and heavy troops over
the years they have developed a reputation for attracting spellcasters.
Current Status
100 pure spellcasters.
300 archers.
300 light infantry and 400 heavy infantry.
York
General –
Battalion HQ – York
Information
The York Battalion prides itself on being the shield wall of Albion. They
have gained many honours in their history from the taking of York from
the Akaria, fighting the forces of the Conclave and Alder-York. Their
recent battles and the swamping of the land have taken a toll on the
battalion, however in the past few years work by the then Duke of York
Wyck Carden and Charles Falcon has brought the strength back. They
are a battalion of the people for the people and will always help where
and when needed. They specialize in heavy line fighting, shield wall and
line breaking; made up of archers and heavy infantry with spellcaster
and incantors. Thanks largely to the influence of Lady Madeline Falcon
the battalion incant in the name of the mother.
Current Status
500 archers
100 pure spellcaster and incantors
600 heavy infantry interspersed with spellcasters and incantors. House
Falcon guard make up the bulk of this force.
The Circle Guard (Blues and
Royals)
General –
Battalion HQ – Alton.
Information
These troops guard the circles of Albion as a primary role but can be
used in support as incantors or infantry should it be required. Every
member of the battalion is an incantor, they pride themselves on taking
any follower of any ancestor Albion or otherwise either light or dark
aspect. In recent year they relocated to Alton with the permission of the
then Duchess of Cornwall. They are currently just under strength and
are actively recruiting, they also are known to recruit from outside of
Albion but have a very selective process.

Information
The Albion Navy has the distinction of being one of the finest in the
Heartlands with the like of Marcellus Castiglione and Albert Prynce
leading from the front. They once again seek to open there base of
operation from Londinium to help patrol the northern waters. Thanks to
the like of Marcellus, Albert and Blighty they have been short of recruits.
The introduction of spellcaster and incantors in to the marines has only
further aided recruitment.

The 1st Tooth & Claw

Information
This battalion is not a standing unit of troops as most of the other
battalions are but rather a collection of Beastkin who when called will
come to defend the crown or the land of Albion. They are as varied as
the Beastkin of Albion are and call fight in most way except for heavy
line fighting. To call this battalion to arm one must seek one of the senior
Beastkin within the realm.

Note
Albion has always had 10 battalions, with the demise of the King the
Winterheart Guard have stood down to the last person. This leaves a
position open to raise a new battalion in the defence of Albion.
